Coach Andria B. Chapa |
Born and raised in Houston Texas, Andria Chapa ran Track, Cross Country, played basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball at South Houston High School in Pasadena, TX. She became the first freshman ever at SOHO to make the cheerleading squad. She became captain her senior year. The Cheer Power Org. elected her Jump Champion and she made All American cheerleader and performed at the Army Bowl in San Antonio, TX. She was also the captain of the volleyball team. She was awarded team MVP making 2nd team All District 3 years in a row and was elected to the All Star and voted “Most Athletic Girl” her senior year at SOHO.
She was also named a “Texas Scholar” and received the “Semper Donantes” award meaning “always giving” at graduation. She has accepted this quote as her motto in life.
As a newcomer to “Lewis F.A.S.T. Camp’’ she will be head of female training. This will include Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Track, and Cheerleading Jump Training.
Having been a student/athlete of “Lewis F.A.S.T Camp”, she can speak on a personal level about her experience. Coach Lewis is a true encourager, pushing you past your limitations and striving for a better “YOU”. You tend to reflect on the past and ask yourself, who was the person that literally had a positive meaning in my life. For her it was Coach Lewis. He takes the sport and makes it into a life experience, making you a stronger individual. His wise words and encouragement are truly an inspiration. It’s an honor to now be a part of his coaching staff and prompt others to a “Faster Way to Your Future” |
 Coach Tyree Myles |
Coach Tyree Myles has taught and coached for nine years. He attened Southwestern College in Winfield,Ks, and there he receive all-conference and all-american in football and track and field, and BS degree in health,P.E. and recreation. Upon graduating he begun my career as an educator and coach while teaching Physical Education and coaching football, basketball and track and field.
He has been blessed to have an all-conference offensive lineman every year of my career and have had a couple of all-state lineman. He has had many all-conference track and field athletes,as well as couple of all-state runners along with conference titles in football and track and field. Coaching young peopleis a joy of his life. Instilling and developing them into winners is his purpose for coaching and teaching. |
 Coach Alvin Dexter Armour |
Coach Alvin Dexter Armour, also known as Coach Sweets, was born in New Orleans, LA and has been a resident there for the majority of his life. Coach Sweets was an all purpose athlete at Lawless High School where he played football, baseball, basketball, and ran track. Upon graduating in 1987, Coach Sweets went on to pursue his love for sports by attending Southern University majoring in sports medicine. There, he also played football in the positions of outside linebacker and strong safety.
After completing college in 1990, Coach Sweets was drafted to play in the CFL for the British Lions. He pursued this interest from 1994-1995, before returning to the United States. Upon returning to the U.S., he played arena football in the AFL for the Louisiana Bayou Beasts, where he led the team in a winning season and winning the championship game in 1998. After leaving the AFL, Coach Sweets took an interest in coaching recreation football. He mentored youth ages 12-14 by volunteering as a coach with Nord Recreation Center. Not only did he take these children under his wing, but he took on a coaching position at Carver High School, in which he was the Assistant Defensive Coordinator (Linebackers and Defensive End), in 2005. After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Coach Sweets remained dedicated to his commitment of giving back to the community.
He returned to New Orleans to help rebuild what faith was left in the children at Nord Recreation. He invested much of his time and money to get the team back on the right track, and ultimately put together a championship team. Coach Sweets has also had two All-Star teams under his wing, The New Orleans Nord Recreational All-Star team and The New Orleans Saints All-Star team. |
 Coach Brantley Williams |
Coach Brantley Williams has over 14 years of coaching experience mainly on the high school level. He is presently the head 7th grade football coach, head girls basketball coach, and assistant track coach at McDonald Jr. High School in Katy ISD.
Brantley has coached in the New Orleans area at Francis T. Nicholls, Redeemer-Seton, and St. Augustine High Schools respectively. In three years as head coach the Redeemer-Seton Rams compiled a record 21 wins and 13 losses with 2 playoff appearances. He hired one of the best Defensive Coordinators in the city in Gerard Lewis whose defense was a major reason for the team's success. Brantley became Offensive Coordinator at his Alma Mater St. Augustine before moving to Houston due to Hurricane Katrina.
Brantley passed for over 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns as a high school senior at St Aug. He went on to play quarterback at Alabama St. University where in 1991 the hornet compiled a 11-0-1 record, a SWAC Championship and a berth in the Heritage Bowl in Miami, Florida where Brantley quarterbacked the Hornets to a 36-13 victory against North Carolina A&T to claim the Black College National Championship.
Brantley is married to the former Demetra Garibaldi and he has three children, Brittney, Brantley Jr. and Briana. |
